Job Description

CHRISTUS Health is hiring a full-time CRNA for CHRISTUS Highland Medical Center in Shreveport, Louisiana. This W-2 hospital-employed position offers a collaborative anesthesia care environment with a broad surgical case mix and excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical specialties
• Work collaboratively with CRNAs and anesthesiologists in a supportive environment
• Utilize modern anesthesia equipment including Digital Mindray machines, GlideScopes, McGraths, and syringe pumps
• Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care to adult and healthy pediatric patients

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation range: $220,000–$300,000
• 40-hour weekly pay guarantee
• Sign-on incentives and student stipend available
• Premium pay: $200/hour for time worked over 40 hours/week
• Shift differential for evenings, nights, and weekends
• Holiday pay at 1.5x rate

Job Requirements

• Active APRN license in the state of employment
• New graduates welcome; mentorship available
• Ability to perform anesthesia within a supervised care team model

Schedule & Work Environment

• 4×10-hour shifts with every other Fri–Mon off
• Level III trauma center
• General cases: general surgery, orthopedics, urology, vascular, plastics, gyn, ophthalmology, healthy peds (ENT), robotics, and EP
• No transplant cases
• Collaborative team with long-term CRNAs and supportive leadership
