Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its highly respected anesthesia team at a major academic teaching hospital. This is a definite, immediate-opening position offering the opportunity to practice in a high-acuity environment while working alongside experienced CRNAs, anesthesiologists, surgeons, and trainees within one of the nation’s most recognized healthcare systems.

Johns Hopkins Bayview is Maryland’s only accredited Burn Center and a Level II Trauma Center, providing CRNAs with exposure to a wide range of complex and challenging cases. The clinical practice includes orthopedic surgery, major vascular procedures, neurosurgery, thoracic anesthesia, trauma anesthesia, and critical care–level cases. CRNAs also participate in obstetric, cardiac, and regional anesthesia services at times, offering a well-rounded and intellectually stimulating practice environment.

This role operates within a fully medically directed care team model, with anesthesiologist oversight provided 100% of the time. Induction responsibilities are shared between CRNAs and anesthesiologists depending on case needs and clinical circumstances. CRNAs are integral members of the perioperative team and are actively involved in delivering high-level patient care while contributing to quality improvement initiatives and hospital-wide clinical programs.

The position is offered as a W-2 role with an annual salary range of $200,000 to $240,000, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package through Johns Hopkins University. There are no first-call or second-call requirements, supporting a sustainable schedule within a demanding academic environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in a medically directed academic care team model

• Participate in perioperative safety, quality, and patient care initiatives
