Job Description

Metro Anesthesia & Pain Management LLP is seeking a full-time CRNA to join a physician-owned private anesthesia group serving two busy outpatient surgery centers in the West Des Moines area. This role is ideal for CRNAs who value autonomy, efficiency, and a strong work–life balance while practicing in a supportive, collegial environment. CRNAs function independently, with cases billed solely under the CRNA, while anesthesiologists remain available for consultation as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia services across two outpatient surgery centers
  • Independently manage cases with optional anesthesiologist consultation
  • Deliver care for a diverse outpatient surgical population
  • Assist with next-day scheduling assignments when on call

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual compensation range of $240,000–$250,000 based on experience
  • Employer health insurance contribution ($600/month individual, $1,200/month family)

Job Requirements

  • Active CRNA license eligible to practice in Iowa
  • Comfort with independent CRNA practice
  • Experience with ophthalmology anesthesia required
  • Interest in utilizing ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia skills

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time outpatient schedule
  • Limited call, primarily late afternoons and occasional weekends
  • First call approximately every seventh night
  • Independent practice model with strong physician support
