Job Description

Banner University Medical Group is seeking per-diem Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join the anesthesia team at Banner University Medical Center Phoenix. This role is based at a large academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center that provides comprehensive surgical and specialty care.

CRNAs in this position support a broad range of anesthetizing locations, including operating rooms and endoscopy suites, and work with a diverse case mix spanning general surgery and multiple subspecialties. The opportunity offers flexible per-diem scheduling with no minimum shift requirements and an anesthesia care model that may include medical direction.

Job Highlights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for general and subspecialty surgical procedures
• Support anesthetizing locations across the medical center
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and perioperative staff as part of the care team
• Maintain accurate and timely anesthesia documentation

Compensation & Benefits

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification in good standing
• Active Arizona CRNA license or ability to obtain
• Open to both new graduates and experienced CRNAs
• Ability to practice in a high-acuity academic hospital setting

• Hospital-based anesthesia practice
