Job Description

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its team at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, Mississippi. This full-time opportunity offers a stable hospital-based practice with a focus on bread and butter cases in a supportive care environment.

CRNAs will work under medical direction while providing anesthesia services across a variety of routine surgical procedures. This role is ideal for providers seeking strong compensation, a manageable call schedule, and a high quality of life in a vibrant college town.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop patient care plans
• Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure safety and stability
• Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery management
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
• Participate in continuing education and hospital training programs

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary starting at $215,000 annually

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Active Mississippi licensure or eligibility
• NBCRNA certification required
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time W-2 position
• Medical direction model
• Call schedule approximately 1:4, expected to move to 1:6
• Home call structure
• Bread and butter case mix with no cardiac or neuro cases
• Supportive hospital-based team environment
