Job Description

CHI Health is seeking a quality-driven, patient-centered Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the team at Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy in Omaha, Nebraska. This full-time position offers a dynamic academic environment with the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians and participate in the education of SRNA students.

This role is ideal for CRNAs seeking a diverse and high-acuity practice, including trauma, within a collaborative care team model.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a wide variety of surgical specialties
• Participate in trauma, general, orthopedic, vascular, OB, neuro, cardiac, and endoscopy cases
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Assist in teaching and mentoring SRNA students
• Document clinical care using EPIC EMR system

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited CRNA program
• Ability to obtain Nebraska CRNA licensure
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork

• Flexible scheduling options including call and no-call positions

• Facility: 391-bed Level I Trauma Center
• Academic medical center with anesthesia residency and SRNA program in development
• Practice includes main campus and CHI Midlands Health Ambulatory Surgery Center
• Team includes 18 anesthesiologists and 45 CRNAs
