1099 Call Optional Full Time Locum Tenens VT

Job Description

Directhire.com is seeking a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Northern Vermont. This position begins January 5th and is ongoing, offering a Monday–Friday schedule with shared call responsibilities. The practice operates under medical supervision with a diverse case mix, competitive hourly and call rates, and full malpractice, housing, and travel provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care under a medically supervised practice model (approximately 60% supervision)
• Administer anesthesia for cases including Ortho, General Surgery, Endoscopy, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, and Plastics
• Perform regional anesthesia including blocks, spinals, and epidurals
• Participate in shared call rotation including beeper call and weekend call
• Manage anesthesia for OB services including C-sections and VBACs

Compensation & Benefits

• 1099 independent contractor position
• $260/hr standard rate
• $265/hr overtime rate
• $300 per night for weeknight call
• $1,000 per 24-hour weekend call
• $2,000–$2,100 per day equivalent
• Paid malpractice, housing, and travel

Job Requirements

• Active CRNA license
• Proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and peripheral nerve blocks
• Ability to handle a broad case mix including OB and pediatrics
• Capability to meet call response time of 30 minutes

Schedule & Work Environment

• Locum tenens position beginning January 5th, ongoing
• Monday–Friday, 7:00–15:00 (some days until 17:00)
• Beeper call once per week
• One weekend of call per month
• Team structure: 2 MDs and 3 CRNAs daily
• Approximately 380 deliveries per year with OB coverage
