Job Description

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join Azura Vascular Care in Richmond, Virginia. This full-time W-2 role offers competitive hourly compensation, a Monday–Friday schedule with no call, and the opportunity to work independently in an outpatient vascular care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, obtain informed consent, and develop individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia and analgesia for a variety of outpatient vascular procedures using evidence-based practices.
• Perform airway management techniques including fiberoptic intubation, as appropriate.
• Provide post-anesthesia evaluation and recovery management, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Insert and manage peripheral, arterial, and central venous lines as required by privileges.
• Support acute and chronic pain management with advanced modalities.
• Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration, safety initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay: $140 – $225/hr (8-hour daily guarantee).

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Current Virginia CRNA license (or eligibility to obtain).
• NBCRNA certification and active BLS/ACLS credentials.
• 5+ years CRNA experience preferred (minimum 8–12 years related experience or equivalent combination).
• Ability to perform autonomously in an outpatient setting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time W-2 position.
• Monday–Friday schedule; no nights, weekends, or call.
• Independent CRNA practice in a vascular outpatient care setting.
• Travel requirement: 10–15% between facilities.
• Immediate start date available.
