Clinical Practice

CRNAs at MUSC provide anesthesia care across four major practice sites within one of the nation’s premier academic medical centers. Providers perform preoperative evaluations, administer anesthesia, monitor patients throughout procedures, and provide comprehensive postoperative care while working alongside multidisciplinary surgical teams.

• Level I adult trauma surgery
• Pediatric Level I trauma care
• Cardiovascular surgery and cardiac catheterization
• Transplant surgery
• Neurosurgery
• Orthopedic surgery
• Burn surgery
• Surgical oncology
• Robotic surgery
• Thoracic and vascular surgery
• Interventional radiology and NORA procedures
• Endoscopy
• ENT, ophthalmology, plastics, oral surgery, urology, gynecology, pain management, and ambulatory surgery

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina CRNA license required
• Current ACLS certification required
