Job Description

Northern Arizona Healthcare is hiring full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for our Level I Trauma Center in Flagstaff, AZ and our Level IV hospital in Cottonwood (Sedona area). Join a team of 16 CRNAs and 21 physicians working in a supportive medical direction model with excellent case variety, flexible scheduling, and true work-life balance. This is a salaried W-2 position offering competitive pay, generous PTO, and a robust benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for a wide case mix including general, orthopedics, ENT, neuro spine, podiatry, urology, GI, radiology, and endoscopy.
• Perform regional anesthesia procedures including nerve blocks.
• Collaborate in a 1:3 physician-to-CRNA medical direction model.
• Rotate through 12 main ORs, 3 outpatient surgery center ORs, plus procedural areas.
• Participate in weekday/evening coverage (no overnight shifts after 11pm).

Compensation & Benefits

• Compensation based on experience:
  • 0–2 years: $110/hr ($228,800 annual) + $5,000 CME + $6,000 incentive
  • 2–7 years: $120/hr ($249,600 annual) + $5,000 CME + $6,000 incentive
  • 7+ years: $130/hr ($270,400 annual) + $5,000 CME + $6,000 incentive
• $50,000 sign-on bonus and $25,000 relocation package.

Job Requirements

• NBCRNA-certified CRNA (board certified or board eligible).
• Active Arizona license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Strong skills in general anesthesia and regional techniques (spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a medical direction environment.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time, salaried W-2 position (average 40 hours/week).
• Flexible scheduling: 3–5 days per week with shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours.
• Shifts: 7a–3p, 7a–5p, 7a–7p, or 3p–11p.
• No overnight call past 11 p.m. (physicians cover nights).
• Weekend: approx. 1 in every 5 weeks.
• Evening weekday stretch: about once every 6 weeks.
• Extra shifts available but not required.
• PTO:
  • 0–4 years: 28 days annually
  • 5+ years: 34 days annually

  PTO can be carried over and does not expire.
