Ortho NorthEast is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join its specialized orthopedic hospital and surgery center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This role offers a highly focused orthopedic anesthesia practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings, paired with exceptional work-life balance. Practice Environment

This position is based within a state-of-the-art orthopedic hospital and affiliated surgery center. CRNAs work as part of a collaborative anesthesia group alongside anesthesiologists and orthopedic surgeons in a modern, well-supported environment. The practice emphasizes efficiency, patient safety, and advanced regional anesthesia techniques.

Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope

• Orthopedic anesthesia as the primary focus
• Inpatient and outpatient orthopedic procedures
• Frequent regional anesthesia and spinal anesthesia
• Occasional pediatric and trauma-related orthopedic cases
• No chronic pain service

Schedule & Workload

• Full-time position
• No call responsibilities
• No scheduled weekends
• No major holidays
• Flexible shift options including 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
• Staffing models allow for multiple scheduling combinations

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provision of anesthesia care for orthopedic surgeries
• Placement of arterial lines and spinal anesthesia
• Performance of regional anesthesia blocks as indicated
• Preoperative evaluation and anesthesia planning
• Intraoperative monitoring and postoperative handoff
• Collaboration with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and OR staff

Compensation & Employment Structure

• Annual salary: approximately $297,000–$300,000
• Based on approximately 2,080 hours per year
• Overtime paid at $175/hour after 10 hours in a day or 40 hours in a week
• $30,000 tuition reimbursement or sign-on bonus with three-year commitment
• Up to $10,000 in reimbursable moving expenses
• $1,700 per day for optional add-on Saturday shifts
• W-2 or 1099 compensation option available

Candidate Requirements

• Active Indiana CRNA license required or ability to obtain
• NBCRNA certification required or in examination process
