Job Description

Fairview Health Services is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank in Minneapolis. Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across diverse surgical specialties in an academic hospital setting
• Work both independently and in collaboration with anesthesiologists and SRNAs
• Oversee daily operations of the anesthesia department and supervise support staff
• Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality perioperative anesthesia care

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time, salaried position
• Flexible scheduling with 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
• FIRST Call frequency varies
• State-of-the-art operating rooms and same-day surgery center facilities
• Case variety includes complex surgeries such as heart transplant, cancer treatment, and general surgery
• Average annual volumes: 23,395 surgical cases, 2,334 deliveries, 34,497 inpatient admissions, and 54,490 ED visits

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $260,000–$284,000 based on full-time status

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a CRNA training program
• Current Minnesota APRN license
• NBCRNA certification or eligibility
