Job Description

Fairview Health Services is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the University of Minnesota Medical Center – East Bank in Minneapolis. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a respected academic medical center with access to cutting-edge technology and a wide variety of cases. Signing bonus and relocation assistance are available.

Key Responsibilities

Provide anesthesia care across diverse surgical specialties in an academic hospital setting
Work both independently and in collaboration with anesthesiologists and SRNAs
Oversee daily operations of the anesthesia department and supervise support staff
Ensure patient safety and deliver high-quality perioperative anesthesia care

Schedule & Work Environment

Full-time, salaried position
Flexible scheduling with 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
FIRST Call frequency varies
State-of-the-art operating rooms and same-day surgery center facilities
Case variety includes complex surgeries such as heart transplant, cancer treatment, and general surgery
Average annual volumes: 23,395 surgical cases, 2,334 deliveries, 34,497 inpatient admissions, and 54,490 ED visits

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary: $260,000–$284,000 based on full-time status
Signing bonus and relocation assistance available

Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a CRNA training program
Current Minnesota APRN license
NBCRNA certification or eligibility
Strong clinical skills and ability to manage a wide range of cases
Commitment to high-quality patient care and academic collaboration
