Job Description
Golden Valley Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join an autonomous, non-ACT anesthesia team in a high-quality rural hospital setting. This position offers exceptional work-life balance with 13 weeks of paid time off, strong compensation, and broad clinical autonomy. CRNAs practice independently with readily available physician support and modern anesthesia equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent anesthesia care across a broad general surgical case mix
- Perform regional anesthesia including spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, and arterial lines
- Insert central venous and arterial catheters as needed
- Manage perioperative anesthesia care from pre-op through PACU
- Participate in first-call rotation with compensated callback coverage
Clinical Practice & Case Mix
- General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OB, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, Urology
- No cardiac, neuro, or spine cases
- Autonomous practice model (not ACT)
- Modern equipment including video laryngoscopy and ultrasound in all ORs
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $280,000 with call pay totaling $320,000+ annually
- $30,000 sign-on bonus with two-year commitment
- 13 weeks paid vacation/paid holiday off (PHO)
- 403(b) and 457 retirement plans with up to 6% employer contribution
- CME allowance of $4,600 annually

- $1,000 bonus if post-call day is worked
Schedule & Call
- Average 30–40 hours per week prior to call
- Frequently finished by early afternoon (1–2 PM)
- First call every 7th night and every 7th weekend
- No second call; backup always available
- Post-call day off most of the time
Job Requirements
- Missouri CRNA license or eligibility
- NBCRNA certification (or in process)
- Current ACLS certification
- New graduates welcome
