Job Description

The University of Kansas Health System – Great Bend Campus is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its dynamic and collegial anesthesia team. This role offers autonomy, mentorship for new graduates, and the opportunity to practice across a broad surgical caseload within a respected regional healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia and pain care services for surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based anesthesia care independently and collaboratively with an interprofessional team.
• Manage patients at all acuity levels and across the lifespan.
• Participate in on-call coverage with additional compensation for excess call time.

Job Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Current or eligible Kansas CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification
• Strong commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
• Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time hospital position
• Broad caseload including orthopedic, general surgery, and OB-GYN
• CRNAs perform a full range of procedures
• Additional compensation for excess call
• Mentorship and support available for new graduates
