Job Description

West Broad Anesthesia is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its team at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. This role offers a balanced schedule, strong compensation, and a supportive clinical environment within a medical supervision model.

The practice focuses primarily on bread-and-butter anesthesia cases. The case mix excludes hearts, thoracic, pediatrics, trauma, and neurosurgical procedures. Obstetrics cases are rare and optional. CRNAs work alongside anesthesiologists, residents, and SRNAs in a teaching hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for surgical and procedural cases
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during procedures
• Provide post-anesthesia care and patient recovery monitoring
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, residents, and clinical staff
• Assist in training environments alongside residents and SRNAs

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $275,000 – $325,000 depending on experience
• $20,000 signing bonus
• 7 weeks paid vacation

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Ohio RN and CRNA licensure
• PALS certification not required

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time W-2 position with West Broad Anesthesia
• Schedule options include four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts
• Average workload approximately 32–36 hours weekly while paid for 40 hours
• No weekday call responsibilities
• Weekend and holiday coverage approximately 1 in 8 with home call
• CRNAs serve as backup to residents during call periods
• Teaching hospital with anesthesia residency and SRNA training
• Team includes 7 anesthesiologists and 8 CRNAs
