Job Description

Covenant Anesthesia Group at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join a collaborative team of CRNAs and MDs. Located just 15 minutes outside of Knoxville, this full-time position offers an excellent work-life balance with no nights, weekends, or holidays, along with outstanding sign-on incentives and benefits. CRNAs have the flexibility to pick their own cases on a rotating schedule across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across a wide range of cases including cardiac, thoracic, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, pain management, urology, OB/GYN, GI, and ophthalmology.
• Rotate between the main hospital, 4-room surgery center, 2-room endoscopy center, and an eye center.
• Select preferred cases using a revolving pick order system.
• Participate in collaborative practice with CRNAs and anesthesiologists.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and patient care.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $190,000 – $270,000 (with increased pay for experience and late pool shifts).
• $100,000 sign-on bonus for non-local CRNAs.
• $60,000 sign-on bonus for new grads and local CRNAs.
• Relocation assistance: $10,000 – $15,000.
• $30,000 stipend for students, plus $30,000 additional upon starting.
• Base salary plus 1.5x pay for extended shifts.
• Extra opportunities at $175/hr for covering additional shifts.
• 401(k) retirement plan with 6% employer contribution.
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage (employee fully covered; family coverage available).
• Employer-paid malpractice, disability, and CME funds.
• 6+ weeks of PTO plus 7 paid holidays.
• Extra cardiac pay incentive: $100 per case.

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Active Tennessee CRNA license (or eligibility to obtain).
• New graduates welcome to apply.
• Cardiac experience preferred, with bonus pay available for cardiac cases.
• Commitment to collaborative, high-quality patient care.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time or part-time options available.
• No nights, weekends, or holiday coverage required.
• Dedicated in-house night and weekend coverage.
• Optional opportunities to cover vacation, nights, weekends, or holidays for extra pay.
• Late pool CRNAs typically leave between 4–8 pm and are first out the following day.
• Call requirement: backup call only ~2 times per year, with less than 50% call-in rate; can be given away if preferred.
• Immediate start date available.
