Job Description
Tufts Medicine is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join the anesthesia team at Tufts Medical Center in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. Practice Environment
This is a hospital-based anesthesia practice within a leading academic medical center and integrated health system. CRNAs work under the supervision of attending anesthesiologists in a collaborative care model, with opportunities to practice across a broad range of clinical areas. Tufts Medicine is the principal teaching affiliate of Tufts University School of Medicine and emphasizes education, professional development, and team-based care.
Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope
- Comprehensive anesthesia care across all patient age groups
- Neurological, pediatric, cardiac, and orthopedic cases
- Regional anesthesia and invasive hemodynamic monitoring
- Exposure to complex and high-acuity academic medical center cases
- Retraining provided for candidates needing additional experience in specific areas
Schedule & Workload
- Full-time, part-time, and per diem positions available
- Flexible scheduling options
- Positions available with or without call
- Located on public transportation in downtown Boston
Clinical Responsibilities
- Administration, monitoring, and management of anesthesia care
- Pre-anesthesia assessment and post-anesthesia management
- Collaboration with attending anesthesiologists and multidisciplinary teams
- Participation in academic and teaching-focused clinical practice
Compensation & Employment Structure
- Employment model: W-2
- Annual compensation range: $260,000–$300,000
- $75,000 sign-on bonus for full-time 40-hour positions
- Two-year sign-on commitment
