Job Description

NorthStar Anesthesia is currently seeking a talented and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia.

This opportunity supports NorthStar Anesthesia’s continued nationwide growth and is ideal for CRNAs seeking a highly autonomous practice environment within a stable, well-established group.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in a CRNA-only, fully autonomous practice setting
• Perform regional blocks, place lines, and practice to the full scope of CRNA training
• Participate in endoscopy and obstetric coverage as scheduled
• Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care while maintaining accurate clinical documentation

Compensation & Benefits

• Experienced CRNAs: Base salary range of $205,000–$245,000
• Additional $39,000 in annual call compensation (OB proficiency required)
• Expected additional income of approximately $36,000 annually with minimal call
• Extra call opportunities available for increased earning potential
• $40,000 retention bonus paid as an end-of-year bonus

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Eligible for Georgia licensure
• OB proficiency required for call participation
• New graduates and experienced CRNAs encouraged to apply

Schedule & Work Environment

• Highly autonomous CRNA-only practice with no medical direction
• Providers not on call do not exceed an 8-hour workday
• Average non-call work week of approximately 30–35 hours
• Flexible scheduling with additional call opportunities available

Phoebe Sumter Medical Center is a small critical access hospital in Americus, Georgia, operating 4–5 operating rooms daily and supporting a close-knit, autonomous anesthesia practice.
