Job Description

Western Healthcare is recruiting an experienced or newly graduated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a lucrative opportunity in Western Nebraska. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care across a range of surgical specialties in a community hospital setting.
  • Perform general, regional, and sedation anesthesia as required.
  • Participate in preoperative assessment, anesthetic planning, and postoperative recovery care.
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Opportunity for skill development in nerve blocks and diverse case types.

Compensation & Schedule Options

  • Option 1: Work 3 weeks per month — Earn $380,000/year with 12 weeks off.
  • Option 2: Work full-time (7 weeks every 2 months) — Earn $437,000/year with 6 weeks off.
  • Flexible scheduling and coverage rotation.
  • 1099 independent contractor position.

Job Requirements

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Active or eligible Nebraska CRNA license
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Open to mentoring newer CRNAs in advanced regional anesthesia techniques

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time or near full-time flexible contract schedule
  • 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation (or alternative full-time model)
  • Collaborative clinical environment with mentorship opportunities
