Job Description

Canyon Oral & Facial Surgery is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join the largest Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and ENT private practice in Las Vegas. This full-time, 1099 position offers predictable hours, no call, and a focused outpatient case mix in a high-performance, team-oriented environment. The role is ideal for CRNAs seeking autonomy, professional polish, and long-term growth within an elite surgical group.

Practice Environment

This is an independent, office-based anesthesia role across multiple modern outpatient locations in Las Vegas and Henderson. CRNAs practice without medical direction and collaborate closely with highly trained OMS and ENT surgeons, many of whom hold GA licenses and provide strong clinical support. The practice emphasizes efficiency, safety, and professionalism, and serves a predominantly ASA I–II (and controlled ASA III) population.

Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope

• Outpatient oral and maxillofacial surgery
• Dentoalveolar procedures, extractions, and implants
• Bone grafting and facial trauma/fractures
• ENT outpatient cases
• Office-based anesthesia exclusively
• No cardiac, neuro, vascular, obstetric, or inpatient cases

Schedule & Workload

• Full-time position
• 40-hour weekly commitment
• Predictable daytime hours
• No call responsibilities
• No nights or weekends specified
• Current CRNA averages approximately 30 hours per week

Clinical Responsibilities

• Independent provision of outpatient anesthesia care
• Pre-anesthesia assessments and pre-op calls
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Continuous physiologic monitoring and clinical intervention
• Post-anesthesia recovery oversight and handoff
• Leadership responsibilities consistent with Chief CRNA role

Compensation & Employment Structure

• Employment model: 1099
• Annual compensation range: $300,000–$330,000
• $10,000 sign-on bonus with two-year commitment
• Three weeks of paid vacation
• Salary-based compensation with predictable workload

Candidate Requirements

• Active Nevada CRNA license required
• NBCRNA certification required or in process
• ACLS required
• PALS required
• Strong outpatient anesthesia experience preferred (2–5 years)
• Professional demeanor suitable for a high-profile private practice
