Job Description

The University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital, part of the prestigious University of Minnesota Medical Center, is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with a strong interest in both pediatric and adult anesthesia. Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for a wide variety of pediatric and adult surgical cases within a large academic hospital system.
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists and other members of the surgical team to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
• Participate in teaching and mentoring Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs).
• Develop and implement anesthesia plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient population.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital and departmental protocols for safety and quality.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $260,000–$284,000 (based on full-time 1.0 FTE)

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Current Minnesota APRN license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Board certified or board eligible by the NBCRNA
• Strong interest and experience in pediatric and adult anesthesia
• Commitment to academic excellence and collaborative care

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position (80 hours per pay period / 1.0 FTE)
• Day, evening, and night shifts with a variety of shift lengths
• No first call responsibilities
• Collaborative, team-based anesthesia environment in a major teaching hospital
• Work alongside residents, fellows, and SRNAs in a highly academic setting
