Job Description
MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, New Mexico, is seeking skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join a high-performing anesthesia team. This opportunity offers true independent practice under New Mexico’s SB 78 legislation, allowing CRNAs to work at the top of their license in a collegial, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-spectrum anesthesia services in a wide variety of surgical cases.
- Exercise full autonomy under an independent CRNA model, with physician anesthesiologists available for peer consultation as needed.
- Collaborate with an experienced team of CRNAs and MDAs who promote mentorship, professional growth, and ongoing clinical excellence.
- Perform ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and advanced block techniques.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual compensation: $380,000–$425,000 depending on W-2 or 1099 status.
- Flexible employment structure — W-2 or 1099 available.
- Up to 8 weeks of paid time off annually.

Case Mix
- Orthopedic spine and neurosurgical spine
- Intracranial neurosurgery
- Pediatric dental and bariatric surgery
- Colorectal, ENT, urology, general surgery, GYN, and GI cases
- OB anesthesia covered by a dedicated team (with potential future opportunities)
Job Requirements
- Current CRNA certification (NBCRNA) and active New Mexico license or eligibility.
- Experience with high-acuity surgical cases preferred.
- Strong proficiency in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia (USGRA).
- Commitment to independent practice and professional collaboration.
