Job Description

Northwell Health, New York’s largest health system, is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for full-time positions at its 21 hospitals and specialty centers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment, providing anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures. CRNAs at Northwell Health work within a highly collaborative anesthesia care team model alongside experienced anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals.

As a CRNA with Northwell Health, you will have the opportunity to practice to the fullest extent of your training and expertise. The role includes administering anesthesia, monitoring patient responses, and providing comprehensive perioperative care. You will manage a diverse caseload, including general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiac, pediatrics, and trauma cases, depending on the facility and specialty. CRNAs are also involved in preoperative patient evaluations, post-anesthesia care, and pain management.

Job Requirements

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
  • Eligible for licensure in New York State
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Experience in a variety of surgical cases preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
