Job Description

Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join our community-focused anesthesia team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This position offers an ideal balance of autonomy and collaboration within a physician-led model, with exposure to a wide range of case types and the opportunity to provide care to patients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia for a variety of procedures including general, ENT, orthopedic, neuro, cardiovascular, OB, outpatient, and ancillary cases.
• Provide anesthesia care for patients across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.
• Participate in call coverage, which includes every 10th weekend and a mix of in-house and home call shifts (12 shifts per 20 weeks).

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA)
• Eligible for Wisconsin state licensure
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position with immediate start
• Call rotation: every 10th weekend plus 12 shifts per 20 weeks (combination of in-house and home call)
• Work in a teaching hospital with 325 beds, Level II trauma center, and diverse case mix
