Job Description
Mount Ogden Anesthesia Group is seeking an experienced, independent Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for full-time coverage across high-efficiency ambulatory surgery centers in Northern Utah. This position offers true professional autonomy in a 1099 model with predictable weekday hours and no call, weekends, or holidays.
Practice Environment
This is a CRNA-only, fully autonomous anesthesia model serving multiple outpatient surgery centers. CRNAs practice independently at the top of their license without medical direction, focusing on efficient workflows and high-quality patient care in ASC settings.

- Orthopedic surgery
- Gastrointestinal procedures
- ENT
- Ophthalmology
- Healthy pediatric cases
- Regional anesthesia including peripheral nerve blocks
Schedule & Workload
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday schedule
- No call responsibilities
- No weekends
- No holidays
- Predictable daytime hours
Clinical Responsibilities
- Independent pre-anesthesia evaluations and care planning
- Administration of anesthesia for outpatient surgical procedures
- Placement of peripheral nerve blocks as indicated
- Airway management and intraoperative monitoring
- Post-anesthesia care and patient handoff
- Accurate anesthesia documentation
Compensation & Employment Structure
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Annual compensation range: $260,000–$280,000
- No sign-on bonus
- Malpractice coverage not provided
- No paid vacation or educational leave
Candidate Requirements
- Active Utah CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Comfort practicing independently in ASC settings
- Regional anesthesia proficiency required
- New graduates not accepted
