Job Description

UK St. Claire Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborative hospital-based anesthesia team. This W-2 position offers a highly competitive annual salary of $300,000, strong benefits, and a lifestyle-focused schedule in a scenic region just minutes from an 8,300-acre lake. The organization is open to flexible scheduling, including compressed schedules and creative staffing models, and actively encourages work–life balance. CRNAs of varying experience levels are welcome, with opportunities to expand procedural skills over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia services for a broad inpatient and outpatient case mix
  • Administer general, MAC, neuraxial, and peripheral nerve block anesthesia
  • Participate in OB, orthopedic, spine, vascular, thoracic, pediatric, and GI cases
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff
  • Take first-call responsibilities on a rotating schedule

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary: $300,000 (W-2 hospital-employed position)
  • Call schedule: 1:6 with guaranteed post-call day off
  • Opportunities for additional compensation
  • $2,000 annual CME allowance plus AANA dues paid

Job Requirements

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Eligible for Kentucky licensure
  • Comfortable with a broad procedural skill set or willingness to grow

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Full-time position with flexible scheduling options
  • First call every sixth night
  • No second call requirements
  • Supportive hospital environment with diverse service lines
