Job Description

Oswego Health, a respected independent community health system in Central New York, is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its expanding anesthesia team. This opportunity combines high earning potential, work-life balance, and the chance to practice with autonomy in a supportive hospital environment dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for a variety of surgical specialties including bariatrics, ENT (healthy pediatrics), gastroenterology, general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedics, podiatry, and urology.
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality anesthesia services.
  • Demonstrate or develop proficiency in regional nerve blocks (preferred).
  • Participate in the ongoing growth and development of Oswego Health’s anesthesia program.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $325,000–$330,000
  • $50,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Relocation and student loan reimbursement available

Job Requirements

  • Current AANA certification as a CRNA
  • Eligible for New York State licensure
  • Commitment to collaborative, compassionate, and efficient patient care
  • Regional anesthesia experience preferred

  • Full-time hospital position
  • No first call; infrequent second call
