Job Description

SSM Health Dean Medical Group is hiring full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join its established anesthesia team at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Multiple FTE options are available ranging from 0.8 to 1.0, offering flexibility for CRNAs seeking long-term stability within a large, integrated healthcare system.

This W-2 opportunity supports a collaborative care team model across a tertiary hospital and multiple affiliated outpatient surgery centers. The anesthesia department is well staffed with anesthesiologists and CRNAs, providing shared coverage, consistent workflows, and a broad clinical scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia care across hospital and outpatient surgical settings
  • Participate in general, orthopedic, ENT, GI, vascular, neuro, and OB cases
  • Deliver safe, efficient anesthesia services within a team-based model
  • Support coverage in OR, cardiovascular, OB, endoscopy, and procedural areas

Schedule & Work Environment

  • Flexible scheduling with 8-, 10-, 12-, and 24-hour shifts
  • Primarily weekday coverage, Monday through Friday
  • Shared first, second, and third call rotations
  • Occasional weekend call coverage
  • Practice across hospital and outpatient surgery center locations

  • Vascular and cardiothoracic cases
  • Neuro procedures
  • Obstetrics and healthy pediatric cases

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Eligibility for Wisconsin CRNA licensure
  • NBCRNA certification
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
  • Team-oriented approach to patient care
