Job Description

This full-time CRNA position at UnityPoint Health Allen Hospital offers an exceptional blend of independent practice, strong team collaboration, and a healthy work–life balance. CRNAs manage their own cases across two locations—Allen Hospital and the United Medical Park ASC—within a 204-bed Level III Trauma Center. The role includes a wide variety of case types, opportunities to perform your own blocks, and full post–first call days off. Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage anesthesia care across diverse surgical specialties
• Perform preoperative assessments and formulate individualized anesthetic plans
• Provide anesthesia for general surgery, urology (including robotic cases), orthopedics, OB epidurals and C-sections, Peds dental/ENT, podiatry, GI/endo, ERCP, cath lab, ablations, MRI, and spinal neurosurgery
• Perform your own regional blocks as applicable
• Participate in first and second call rotations, approximately 30 days of first call per year

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting compensation: $280,000 annually

Job Requirements

• NBCRNA certification required
• ACLS certification required
• New graduates considered
• Strong understanding of anesthetic medications and perioperative management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking abilities
• Compassionate, detail-oriented approach to patient care

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time W-2 employment
• Independent practice model with physician backup available
• Varied first and second call rotations; post call day off always provided
• Two clinical sites: Allen Hospital & United Medical Park ASC
• Level III Trauma Center with modern ORs and a broad case mix
