Job Description

This full-time CRNA opportunity with Anesthesiology & Pain Consultants (APC) offers an excellent work–life balance at Lafayette Surgical Specialty Hospital. CRNAs work alongside a collaborative team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs across a wide, manageable case mix. The environment is family-friendly with no in-house call, no trauma, no OB, and no cardiac cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for orthopedics, ENT, spine, urology, general surgery, GI, plastics, ophthalmology, and interventional pain procedures
• Perform preoperative assessments and develop anesthesia plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures
• Support safe postoperative recovery and transitions
• Participate in weekday beeper call rotation
• Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists and CRNA team members

Compensation & Benefits

• 1099: $275,000 base salary
• W-2: $225,000 base salary
• $15,000 sign-on bonus (two-year commitment)
• 6 weeks of paid vacation
• Additional $20,000+ annually through overtime
• W-2 benefits up to $35,000 including health, dental, vision, malpractice, life insurance, disability, AFLAC, 401k, CME allowances, and profit sharing
• OT after 10 hours on beeper call days
• OT after 8 hours when not on beeper call
• No weekend call

Job Requirements

• Current CRNA certification and Louisiana licensure
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team
• Experience across a broad case mix preferred
• Comfort with weekday beeper call rotation (1:7)

Schedule & Work Environment

• Average 30–33 hours per week
• Weekday beeper call every seventh night
• No weekend call
• No trauma, OB, cardiac, or vascular cases
• Supportive anesthesia care team with four anesthesiologists and seven CRNAs
