Job Description

The VA Eastern Oklahoma Healthcare System (EOVAHCS) is seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide anesthesia care for our nation’s Veterans. This full-time position offers a stable weekday schedule, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to serve in a mission-driven, team-oriented environment focused on excellence in Veteran care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer safe and effective anesthesia to surgical patients in accordance with VA protocols and national standards of care.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations, monitor intraoperative care, and manage post-anesthesia recovery.
  • Participate in the education and training of residents, medical students, and other healthcare providers.
  • Support the growing anesthesia department as the new James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center opens in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2026.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Annual Salary Range: $170,000 – $250,000 (based on experience)
  • Position Type: Full-Time, W-2 Federal Employment
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, no call or weekends
  • Facility Expansion: New hospital opening in 2026 with state-of-the-art surgical suites

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
  • Current and unrestricted CRNA license
  • Eligibility for federal employment (U.S. citizenship required)
