Job Description

The Surgery Center of Fairbanks is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborative, team-based anesthesia group in Interior Alaska. Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of outpatient surgical procedures, including orthopedics, general surgery, otolaryngology, gynecology, neuro spine, ophthalmology, podiatry, and endoscopy.
• Work collaboratively with a cohesive team of CRNAs, MDs, and DOs under a care team model.
• Assist in maintaining high standards for perioperative care and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the center’s mission of building a strong, patient-centered surgical home.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual compensation: $320,000–$380,000 (depending on experience and performance).
• No call, weekends, nights, or holidays.
• Typical workday: 6–9 hour shifts.
• 8+ weeks of vacation annually (negotiable).
• Profit-sharing opportunity after 3 years.
• Optional 23-hour hold coverage 1–4 times per year (financially incentivized but not required).

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
• Active Alaska RN and CRNA license (or eligibility).
• Ability to provide anesthesia for a range of outpatient cases independently or in collaboration with an anesthesia care team.
• Commitment to teamwork, communication, and high-quality patient care.
