Job Description

A respected academic hospital in a highly desirable Boston suburb is seeking a full-time W-2 Staff CRNA to join its collaborative anesthesia team. This role offers exceptional work–life balance with a 4×10 weekday schedule, no call, no weekends, and no holiday coverage. CRNAs enjoy strong clinical autonomy within a supportive teaching environment that includes residents and SRNAs. The hospital provides a diverse caseload—including general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, neuro, plastics, and urology—without OB, pediatrics, or cardiac responsibilities. Optional regional anesthesia opportunities such as spinals, epidurals, and blocks are available for those who wish to expand or utilize those skills. This position combines academic resources, excellent compensation, and a highly favorable lifestyle, making it ideal for new graduates and experienced CRNAs seeking a stable, long-term role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver anesthesia care across general, ENT, orthopedic, neuro, plastics, and urology cases
  • Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans
  • Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout surgical procedures
  • Participate in a collaborative anesthesia model with a low 2:1 MDA-to-CRNA ratio
  • Optional involvement in teaching anesthesia students and residents
  • Perform regional techniques (optional)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary starting at $290,000 with $300K+ potential
  • $25,000 sign-on bonus with 3-year commitment

Job Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Active CRNA licensure or eligibility in Massachusetts
  • NBCRNA certification
  • Ability to work independently within a supportive care-team/academic environment
  • New graduates and experienced CRNAs welcome
