Job Description
Geisinger Lewistown Hospital is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its anesthesia team in Lewistown, Pennsylvania. This 123-bed hospital provides a supportive environment for both new graduates and experienced CRNAs, with a broad case mix and flexible scheduling options.
CRNAs work within a medically directed model while providing anesthesia care for a range of surgical services including general surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics, podiatry, and obstetrics/gynecology. The facility includes six operating rooms, three endoscopy suites, and one OB suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services across multiple surgical specialties
- Participate in a medically directed anesthesia care model
- Perform spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia procedures as required
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and surgical teams
- Participate in backup call rotation
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary approximately $275,000
- Sign-on bonus up to $125,000

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Pennsylvania state license required
- NBCRNA certification or eligibility
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications
- New graduates welcome
Schedule & Work Environment
- Flexible scheduling with 8, 10, 12, or 24 hour shifts
- No first call responsibilities
- Second call approximately every sixth night
- Practice limited to one hospital
- 123-bed hospital with 6 ORs, 3 endoscopy suites, and 1 OB suite
- Case mix: general surgery, gastroenterology, orthopedics/podiatry, gynecology, and obstetrics
