Program Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.

Current registered nursing license.

Minimum one year experience in critical care (Surgical Intensive Care is preferred).

Cumulative 3.0, based on all college and masters programs attended, strong science GPA

GRE must be completed within the last 5 years (GRE may be waived for applicants with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher Competitive applicants will score a 500 on both the verbal and quantitative sections, and a 5 or greater on the analytical writing section.

Required Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), and CCRN.

Course Prerequisites: Chemistry: 3 or more credits, completed with a B or better, within the last five years. Biochemistry: Highly recommended. Statistics: 3 or more credits, completed with a C or better.
