Job Description

Hennepin Healthcare is hiring a full-time CRNA to join a high-acuity, mission-driven anesthesia team serving trauma, surgical, medical, pediatric, obstetric, and NORA locations. This role offers a wide clinical scope, strong autonomy, and excellent institutional support within Minnesota’s premier safety-net and Level I Trauma center.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations, testing review, and pre-medication planning
• Provide full-spectrum anesthesia care to diverse acuity levels across multiple specialties
• Administer anesthetics, medications, fluids, and blood products
• Monitor oxygenation, ventilation, circulation, temperature, and anesthetic depth
• Ensure proper patient positioning and complete anesthesia documentation
• Deliver post-anesthesia care and assist with PACU transitions
• Manage airway and emergency situations using ACLS/PALS skills
• Support pain management services
• Maintain and operate anesthesia equipment safely
• Precept students and engage in quality improvement initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

• $250,000–$280,000 annually (experience-based tiers)
• $20,000 sign-on bonus with 1-year commitment
• Tiered hourly rates:
  • 0–2 years: $123/hr
  • 3–6 years: $130/hr
  • 7+ years: $137/hr

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Valid Minnesota APRN license or eligibility
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Comfort working across trauma, OB, pediatrics, and NORA settings

Schedule & Work Environment

• 8-, 10-, or 12-hour day shifts
• 16- and 24-hour call shifts included
• Flexible scheduling after credentialing
• High-acuity Level I trauma center and comprehensive specialty service lines
