Job Description

Samaritan Medical Center is hiring full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join a friendly, cohesive private anesthesia group serving a regional medical center in Watertown, New York. This W-2 opportunity offers excellent compensation, long-term stability, and the potential for extended time off, making it well suited for CRNAs seeking both strong earnings and schedule flexibility.

The anesthesia department practices within an Anesthesia Care Team model and is supported by experienced anesthesiologists, CRNAs, anesthesia technicians, and strong ancillary staff. The operating rooms are modern and well equipped, allowing providers to focus on patient care in an efficient and organized clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for a wide variety of surgical procedures
• Participate in OB, pediatric, orthopedic, urologic, general, neuro, and thoracic cases
• Deliver safe and effective anesthesia services within a team-based care model
• Assist with regional anesthesia, neuraxial techniques, and perioperative patient management
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff

Compensation & Benefits

• Minimum salary guarantee of $330,000
• Total compensation potential exceeding $450,000 annually
• Additional income through bonus shifts, extra call, and overtime paid at time and a half

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time W-2 employment
• Typical non-call days often conclude by 3:30 p.m. or earlier with full-day pay
• First and second call rotations vary
• Post-call days off provided
• Up to 12 weeks off annually, including post-night shift time
• Vacation time increases with seniority

Job Requirements

• Active New York CRNA license or eligibility
• NBCRNA certification
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Comfort practicing in a hospital-based anesthesia care team model
