Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the anesthesia team at TriState Health in Clarkston, Washington. This permanent 1099 CRNA role offers independent practice within a small acute care hospital, broad case exposure, and a lifestyle-friendly schedule with significant vacation time and no state income tax in Washington.

Practice Environment

TriState Health is a community hospital located at 1221 Highland Avenue in Clarkston, Washington. The facility provides acute care, surgical services, and emergency care with a CRNA-supported anesthesia team. CRNAs work collaboratively alongside an anesthesiologist-led team covering surgical services in a flexible model.

Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope

• General surgery and bread-and-butter cases
• Orthopedic procedures
• Urology and GI cases
• Robotic and endoscopy procedures
• Routine pediatric cases
• No trauma or obstetric anesthesia

Schedule & Workload

• Permanent 1099 position
• Independent CRNA practice model
• Beeper call coverage starting at 5 pm
• Routinely staffing 3 operating rooms (occasionally 4)
• Extensive vacation time (approximately 13 weeks annually)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage anesthetic care for a wide surgical case mix
• Perform preoperative evaluations and anesthetic planning
• Deliver anesthesia and manage intraoperative monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and surgical teams
• Document anesthesia care as required

Compensation & Employment Structure

• Annual earnings: approximately $320,000
• 1099 independent contractor model
• No state income tax in Washington
• Broad vacation and time-off package

Candidate Requirements

• NBCRNA certification required
• Active Washington CRNA license preferred (or ability to obtain)
• New graduates encouraged to apply
