Job Description

Northern Light Mayo Hospital is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join its collaborative team in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine. This independent practice opportunity offers a highly autonomous work environment in a critical access hospital setting with strong support staff and a low-volume call schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent anesthesia care in a critical access hospital environment
• Administer spinal anesthesia, epidurals, and regional anesthesia blocks
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and post-anesthesia care
• Manage anesthesia for obstetric, orthopedic, and general surgical procedures
• Participate in a 1:4 first-call rotation
• Collaborate closely with surgical and nursing teams to deliver high-quality patient care

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary starting at $260,000
• Additional compensation for weekday and weekend call
• 13 weeks PTO annually

Job Requirements

• Current NBCRNA certification required
• Maine CRNA license required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• 2-5 years of clinical CRNA experience preferred
• Independent practice experience strongly preferred
• New graduates not accepted

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time W-2 employment
• Independent CRNA-only anesthesia model
• 1:4 first-call rotation
• No second-call responsibilities
• Low-volume call environment
• Hospital staffed with 4 full-time and 1 part-time CRNA
• No anesthesiologists on staff
• Cases include OB, orthopedic, and regional anesthesia
