Job Description

This full-time CRNA position with Metro Anesthesia & Pain Management LLP offers a high level of autonomy across two outpatient surgery centers in the Des Moines area. The role is ideal for a CRNA seeking independence, a predictable case mix, and the benefits of working within a physician-owned private practice. Supportive anesthesiologists are available for consultation, but cases are billed independently under the CRNA.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care independently across two outpatient surgery centers.
• Manage a broad case mix including ENT, ortho, general surgery, ophthalmology, urology, plastics, and podiatry.
• Perform high-volume ophthalmology anesthesia with confidence.
• Utilize and grow ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia skills.
• Participate in limited call duties, primarily late day cases with occasional weekends.
• Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff to support efficient daily operations.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $240,000–$250,000

Job Requirements

• Active CRNA certification and relevant state licensure

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time role across two outpatient surgery centers
• Every seventh night first call; occasional weekend call
• Post-call days off provided occasionally
• Team-based environment within a physician-owned private group
