Job Description
Great River Health is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join its established, all-CRNA anesthesia team at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center – West Burlington Campus. This is a high-autonomy W-2 position designed for CRNAs who want to practice at the top of their license in a supportive, clinician-driven environment. Providers enjoy a broad surgical caseload without heads, hearts, or sick pediatric cases, allowing for a balanced yet clinically engaging practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous anesthesia care across orthopedic, general surgery, urology, OB/GYN, and endoscopy cases
- Perform and manage a high volume of regional anesthesia techniques
- Participate in a shared call rotation within an all-CRNA model
- Collaborate with surgeons and perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual compensation range of $340,000–$370,000
- $100,000 sign-on bonus
- Paid call with post–first call day always off
- Approximately 7 weeks of time off annually
- W-2 employment with full benefits package
Job Requirements
- Active CRNA certification
- Comfort practicing independently
- Experience or interest in regional anesthesia
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time hospital-based position
- 1:10 first-call and 1:10 second-call rotation
- Post-call days always off
- All-CRNA anesthesia care model
