Job Description

This full-time CRNA role with a physician-owned private anesthesia group offers true autonomy across two outpatient surgery centers in the West Des Moines area. Providers will manage a wide range of outpatient cases, including a high volume of ophthalmology procedures, and work in a supportive, collegial anesthesia environment. Limited call responsibilities and strong work-life balance make this an ideal long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent anesthesia care across two outpatient surgery centers
• Perform anesthesia for ENT, orthopedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, urology, plastics, and podiatry
• Manage a high volume of ophthalmology cases
• Conduct preoperative evaluations and create appropriate anesthetic plans
• Utilize regional anesthesia and ultrasound-guided block techniques when appropriate
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists available for consultation
• Participate in limited call coverage, primarily late-day cases and occasional weekends

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $240,000 – $250,000
• $600/month employer contribution toward individual health insurance; $1,200/month toward family plans

Job Requirements

• CRNA license and certification in good standing
• Comfort with high-volume ophthalmology anesthesia required
• Experience with regional anesthesia preferred
• Ability to practice independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Full-time outpatient position
• Independent CRNA practice model
• Limited call obligations (every seventh night)
• Occasional weekend coverage
