Job Description
We are in need of a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to provide coverage at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona. This assignment supports a newly transitioned anesthesia service and offers CRNAs the opportunity to practice in a fully autonomous, CRNA-only environment.
This role is well suited for experienced CRNAs looking for a high-paying locum assignment with extended scheduled time off, a predictable rotation, and the ability to work at the top of their license within a community-focused hospital.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Deliver anesthesia care across inpatient and surgical services
- Practice independently without medical direction
- Participate in a shared call rotation
- Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and perioperative leadership
- Ensure compliance with safety, documentation, and quality standards
Schedule & Rotation
- Locum assignment beginning March 2026
- Structured 3 weeks on / 1 week off schedule
- First-call responsibility approximately every eighth night
- Post-call relief built into the rotation
- Roughly 13 weeks off per year
Compensation & Engagement Details
- Daily compensation starting at $2,000+
- Independent contractor (1099) arrangement
- Malpractice coverage required at standard limits
- Opportunity to extend beyond the initial coverage period

Position Requirements
- Active Arizona CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification
- Current ACLS and PALS
- Comfort managing cases independently
- Previous hospital-based experience preferred
