Job Description

Mary Washington Healthcare, an independent healthcare system in Virginia, is seeking full-time CRNAs to join our dynamic anesthesia team. With new leadership, a competitive pay structure, and flexible scheduling options (including 24-hour shifts), this role offers an outstanding opportunity to work a diverse case mix in a supportive environment. Our facilities include a 471-bed Level II trauma center, a six-OR ambulatory surgery center, and a four-OR satellite hospital, all within minutes of each other.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for a wide range of cases, including general, trauma, gynecology, podiatry, neuro, breast, robotic, urology, vascular, ortho, thoracic, and healthy pediatrics.
• Manage OB anesthesia including epidurals and spinals at busy obstetric departments.
• Optional participation in cardiac anesthesia (over 300 pump cases/year plus a TAVR program).
• Perform anesthesia services in off-site locations such as endoscopy, MRI, IR, and cath labs.
• Participate in specialty training for students from Georgetown University and VCU.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary starting at $210,000 (W-2).
• $100,000 sign-on bonus.

• Flexible scheduling: 8-, 10-, 12-, 14-, and 24-hour shifts available.
• Limited call requirements: 1–2 beeper calls/month and only two weekend beeper calls per year.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Current Virginia CRNA license (or eligibility).
• NBCRNA certification or recertification.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Strong clinical skills across a variety of anesthesia cases.
