MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its collaborative anesthesiology care team in Northeast Iowa. This hospital-employed position offers a highly desirable work-life balance with no call, no nights, and no weekends, making it an excellent opportunity for both experienced CRNAs and new graduates.

CRNAs practice under medical direction within a supportive team model alongside anesthesiologists, delivering anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical services. Responsibilities include preoperative assessment, anesthesia administration, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative evaluation, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and quality outcomes.

Providers will work primarily at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center with additional coverage at MercyOne Cedar Falls Medical Center as needed. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement anesthesia plans under medical direction
• Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures
• Conduct preoperative and postoperative patient evaluations
• Document anesthesia care accurately in the medical record
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions

Compensation & Benefits

• Guaranteed annual salary starting at $290,000
• Commencement bonus up to $90,000
• Relocation allowance up to $15,000
• W-2 hospital-employed position

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active or eligible Iowa CRNA licensure
• NBCRNA certification required (exam process acceptable)
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• New graduates welcome to apply
