Job Description
Missouri Baptist Medical Center at BJC Health System is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join its established hospital-based anesthesia team in St. Louis, Missouri. This full-time W-2 position offers flexible scheduling options, minimal home call, guaranteed post-call time off, and the opportunity to work weekends only.
CRNAs practice in a collaborative hospital environment with a broad variety of in-house procedural areas and surgical specialties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services across multiple in-house locations including Operating Rooms, Women’s Outpatient Center, Endoscopy Lab, Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, Interventional Pulmonology, and MRI
- Manage diverse case types including orthopedic, neuro, vascular, outpatient surgery, and cardiac cath lab procedures
- Administer spinal anesthesia routinely and regional anesthesia as indicated
- Insert arterial lines as needed and central lines rarely
- Collaborate with physicians and surgical teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary starting at $243,500 for new graduates
- Salary range up to $290,000 based on experience
- $30,000 sign-on bonus (3-year agreement)
- Student advanced sign-on bonus of $1,500/month up to $30,000 (3-year agreement)
- $15,000 annual call bonus
- Supplemental pay for call and hours beyond scheduled shifts
- Annual base pay increases for CRNAs in good standing
- 288 hours of Allowed Time Off (36 eight-hour days per year)
- Guaranteed paid post-call day off
- CME allowance of $2,500 annually

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (NBCRNA certified or in examination process)
- Missouri state licensure or eligibility
- Current ACLS and PALS certification
- New graduates accepted
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time W-2 hospital-employed position
- Minimal call requirements
- Call taken from home with 30-minute response time
- Second call rarely called in overnight
- Option to work only weekends
- Creative scheduling to minimize call burden
