Job Description

MUSC Health is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our Regional Health Network in an exciting leadership role. The CRNA will report to the Director of CRNA Services and Support Personnel, overseeing operations in Florence, Marion, and Black River, SC. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and evaluating anesthesia services while fostering interprofessional collaboration and promoting team member development.

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience:
– Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
– Master’s degree in nursing, nurse anesthesia, or a health-related field required.
– Five or more years of clinical practice experience.
– Three or more years of progressive leadership experience in a CRNA setting required.
– Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) preferred.

Licensure and Certifications:
– South Carolina APRN licensure – CRNA.
– Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
– Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross).

Annual Estimated Salary or Payment

Competitive base compensation for 40 hours plus additional hourly call pay. Includes:
– $50,000 commencement bonus.
– Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility.
– 7 weeks PTO (increasing to 8 weeks in year three).
– $2,500 CME allowance.
– Employer-funded retirement plan.
