Job Description

Capital Digestive Care is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join its office-based endoscopy unit in Suffolk, Virginia. This position offers an excellent work-life balance in a predictable outpatient setting with no nights, no weekends, and no call responsibilities. The practice serves patients throughout the Tidewater region and operates within a fully accredited, well-organized GI care environment.

This W-2 role is ideal for CRNAs who prefer a consistent weekday schedule and a focused clinical scope. The position is based entirely in an office-based endoscopy center and emphasizes patient safety, efficiency, and continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and review patient histories
  • Verify informed consent and discuss anesthesia options and risks with patients
  • Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence of anesthesia for GI procedures
  • Continuously monitor patient physiological status throughout procedures
  • Initiate clinical interventions as needed to ensure patient safety
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated annual salary of approximately $205,000
  • W-2 employment with fully paid malpractice coverage

Case Mix

  • Gastroenterology and endoscopy procedures
  • Office-based anesthesia services exclusively
  • No trauma, cardiac, pediatric, obstetric, or inpatient cases

Job Requirements

  • Active Virginia CRNA license or eligibility
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • NBCRNA certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Comfort working independently in an office-based setting
  • New graduates considered
