Call Required Facility (Direct Hire) Full Time OH W-2

Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center is seeking full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its hospital-based anesthesia team in Akron, Ohio. This W-2 position is centered on a high-volume orthopedic surgical environment and offers a structured weekday schedule with no weekends or holidays. CRNAs in this role practice in a medically directed care team model and support perioperative anesthesia services across inpatient and outpatient orthopedic procedures.

Primary Clinical Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, spinal, epidural, and nerve block anesthesia techniques
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans
• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations and post-anesthesia follow-up visits
• Manage airway and pulmonary function, including intubation, ventilation, and extubation
• Continuously monitor patient physiological responses using invasive and noninvasive methods
• Administer anesthetic agents, adjunct medications, fluids, and blood products as indicated
• Respond to emergency situations using ACLS and PALS protocols
• Discharge patients from post-anesthesia care when clinically appropriate
• Maintain complete and accurate anesthesia documentation to support clinical care and billing

Case Mix & Practice Scope

• Orthopedic anesthesia (primary focus)
• Outpatient surgical anesthesia
• Regional anesthesia performed routinely
• Pediatric cases encountered occasionally
• No cardiac, thoracic, trauma, neuro, or obstetric anesthesia
• 100% medically directed practice model

Compensation & Employment Details

• W-2 hospital-employed position
• Annual compensation range: $160,000 to $280,000 based on experience
• Overtime pay at time-and-a-half for hours worked beyond 40 per week
• Malpractice insurance provided
• Sign-on bonus available (negotiable)
• Immediate start available

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time position
• No weekends
• No holiday coverage
• Single-hospital practice setting
• Collaborative anesthesia care team environment

Candidate Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Active or eligible Ohio RN and CRNA licensure
• Current NBCRNA certification or active certification process
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• 2–3 years of experience preferred; new graduates considered
