Job Description
Integrated Gastroenterology Consultants is seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join a brand-new, physician-owned endoscopy center in Andover, Massachusetts. This part-time opportunity focuses exclusively on office-based anesthesia, providing TIVA for ASA I–III patients undergoing colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures. CRNAs will play a key role in shaping an innovative, patient-centered care model in a growing practice.
Practice Environment
This is an independent, CRNA-only anesthesia role within a modern endoscopy suite. There is no medical direction by anesthesiologists. The practice is office-based, procedure-focused, and designed for efficiency, safety, and high patient satisfaction. The group is expanding and currently supports a collaborative team of physicians, nurses, and anesthesia professionals.
Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope
- TIVA for colonoscopy and upper endoscopy procedures
- ASA I–III adult patients
- Office-based anesthesia exclusively
- No regional, neuraxial, cardiac, trauma, pediatric, or obstetric anesthesia
Schedule & Workload
- Part-time position
- Immediate start available
- No call responsibilities
- No nights or weekends specified
- Predictable procedural schedule
Clinical Responsibilities
- Pre-anesthetic evaluations and anesthesia care planning
- Administration and monitoring of TIVA
- Continuous patient monitoring to ensure safety and comfort
- Post-anesthesia recovery management and patient education
- Accurate and timely anesthesia documentation
- Collaboration with gastroenterologists, nursing staff, and leadership
Compensation & Employment Structure
- Employment model: 1099
- Annual compensation range: $200,000–$380,000 (part-time equivalent)
- Paid medical malpractice insurance
- Overtime paid at time-and-a-half for hours over 40
- Paid educational leave and vacation negotiable
Candidate Requirements
- Active Massachusetts CRNA license required
- NBCRNA certification required
- ACLS required
- Experience with office-based anesthesia and TIVA
- New graduates not accepted
